mpm ~ july 16

I usually have my groceries bought and menu planned by Sunday evening. I don't even know what I have in the kitchen to begin with :o). We got home tonight and had sandwiches... Matt says I make the very best sandwiches so it wasn't a bad thing. I tried a few new things last week and have requests for some regular meals so I think this week is going to be some old standbys... and I'll shop in the morning. Bailey and Emelia start Art Camp tomorrow. Bailey is taking a film class and Emelia a jewelry making class. Me, Amanda & Iz will be home. Should be a quiet week (during the days anyway, it's just a day camp).

Monday
Meatloaf
new potatoes
green beans
rolls

Tuesday
tortilla soup

Wednesday
beans & ham
cornbread
corn on the cob

Thursday
bean burritos (with leftover beans)
rice
salad

Friday
chicken spaghetti with ww pasta
broccoli
garlic bread

(btw ~ in case you don't know... Laura(org. junkie) is hostess of MPM!)
OH~I almost forgot! Don't forget to come back tomorrow for time travel tuesday! We're headed to summer camp this week (I think Karen suggested this one).

Welcome back! It sounds like there are many wonderful opportunities for Camps and interesting courses there. Annie, I keep getting this feeling of you having a new baby- I know you might think...hmmm, that nutty PrayingKaren, but I'm wondering if it means something new and wondeful in your life, and not necessarily a baby. Felt I should share as it keeps 'sticking' with me and there is a joy surrounding it!

Even after being gone all weekend, you have your act together, Annie. Your menu for the week sounds great to me.

Good Monday morning Annie,
I'm totally intimidated by how together you are.
I think it's awesome, I just can't keep up...
I'm lucky if I by groceries that afternoon for dinner that evening -- and it's not something you microwave.

Oh I love seeing your pictures! Are those ones you've taken? I'd love to be able to do that. Maybe someday... I can dream! Your food choices look yummy too!

That's great that you can get fresh veggies from your Dad's garden!
