menu plan monday

I made a ham today with pineapples (I don't like fruit, but ham is better this way) and brown sugar glaze. So, we had ham after church, baked potatoes and whole wheat rolls. It was yummy! So tonight I'm going to soak some beans (either pinto or black... not sure yet) and then cook them all day tomorrow in the slow cooker with leftover ham. I'll make some cornbread and a salad tomorrow night. Tuesday we'll have chili with the leftover beans and I'll have fritos on hand for frito chili pie... Amanda loves that! AND Wednesday we'll have fat free beef kosher weiners on ww buns and leftover chili with pretzels on the side. Thursday we'll have spaghetti with ww pasta and ww garlic toast with salad and Friday some steak with potatoes salad and ww rolls... Sounds like a plan. So, what are you having for supper?

Really great menu plan! I really love beans and would make them more often if I could get dh or my girls to eat them!

Have a blessed week,

Everything sounds so good! I love how you plan to make extra, and then use the leftovers for a different dinner the next day! :)

Last night we had leftover pasta faggioli with salad, and tonight we'll have beef stroganoff and salad. (Salad EVERY day at our house, haha!) I have no idea what we'll have tomorrow! ;)

Your meals always sound so delicious. Tonight we'll have leftover ribs and then tomorrow I'll take the leftover ham and make a ham fettucine dish.

It all sounds good Annie....you're very organized with planning for the leftovers! Very smart, and I bet it makes the next meal easier when part of it is done!

Yum, beans and cornbread. I think I'll soak some beans tonight.

~~Hi Annie, I've been a lurker on your site for a while. I work for the same company Matt does and remember praying for Izzy and looking forward to recieving the email updates on her progress when she had her accident a few years back (God is good). I really enjoy keeping up w/ your family through the blogworld~~

Yum! Sounds like a yummy, thrifty, waste-not, want-not kind of week. We try to have at least 1 night with a dish made from dried beans.
