wordy wednesday

I saw this over at Vader's Mom and thought I would play along. I am supposed to tell you where I was 10, 20 and 30 years ago.

10 - I was pregnant with Emelia. Amanda was 7 and Bailey was 3. I lived here. Same house.

20 - I had just graduated high school. I was going to college and working. Dating Matt, really engaged to Matt and hoping to be married sooner than later. I had marriage on the brain!

30 - I was in third grade. Mrs. Taylor's class at Choctaw Elementary.

So where were you 10-20-30 years ago????

Kari's cousin Joey passed away last night. I am so sad for her and her family. He had been in my prayers and the prayers of many. Please pray for their family.

Thank you Nancy for the blog friend forever award!

(I'll be back in a bit to pass this one on... Izzy's in the stander and it's time to get her out!)

Hi Annie

10 years ago - still in my first job, feeling antsy and ambitious so I resigned, left, they hired me back and promoted me!

20 years - 13! first year of high school. No problems :)

30 years ago - 3 (cute as a button :) I have pics to prove it) LOL

I know you love that broccoli & cheese soup. I saw this on a blog and thought of you! http://www.momadvice.com/blog/2007/10/frugal-hacks-soup-supper.htm

And on the previous post - my most serious illness is the infertility. I've had 2 laparoscopies and I suspect I'll need another soon if the pain levels are anything to go by.

I'm battling to keep up with all the blogs, by the way.

Oh, and today I joined Weigh-Less so I can lose these last kilos!

Bye - chat later!

I think I was a late bloomer- I was way too immature to think about getting married after High School.

As a teacher it warms my heart that you remember your teacher of 30 years ago:)

Congrats on the award:)

Good Thursday afternoon to you, Annie.

How are you and your family doing ?

thank you so much for the prayers and good wishes you left me on your comment on the blog

The closest fire is about 15 miles away, and the smoke is choking everywhere - a blanket of soot and ashes throughout the sky.

I am headed as far north I can get for a week until it is hopefully safer to be back home and be able to breathe again without it being so dangerous.

Hugs, and thank you so much for caring and being concerned, Annie.

Genuinely,
Loving Annie

Annie,
Thank you for praying for Joey and his family. This has been such a terrible time for all of us. Karen, Joey's wife, continues to be an inspiration to all of us. Even her strength through the wake and the funeral were awesome to behold. You could just see God holding His arms around her.

Thank you for your support, prayers and kind thoughts. They were (and are) so very appreciated.
