friday's feast

Appetizer
Fill in the blank: The best thing about where I live is seeing my daddy walking up the road to visit the kiddos, or like tonight seeing him coming with a bucket full of fresh potatoes he just dug up for me, or watching him walk to meet Emelia half way so she can play with him…

Soup
Create a new name for a deodorant (like “Flower Fresh” or “Shower Scent”).

okay, weird one.... um... "sweet sweat?"

Salad
What was the last piece of software you installed onto your computer?

gimp...

Main Course
If you were to receive a superlative award today beginning with the words ”Most likely to…”, what would the rest of the phrase say?

"Most likely to break immersion blenders" or "Most likely to believe God!"

Dessert
What two colors do you like to wear together?

I like to wear a white t-shirt with almost everything and under most things... I have a bunch of them and love them, but probably lime green with black or pink & black... Maybe anything with black.

you broke your immersion blender? The new one?! It's nice your parents live near--mine live 3000 miles away. Great answers.

What a blessing to have your Dad so close! I am jealous. My parents have been here all week, but they are going back to CA tomorrow. Have a wonderful Friday!

I wear white t-shirts all year. Long sleeved in the winter under V-necks, sleeveless under cardigans in the spring and long sleeved in the heat of the summer (I have very fair skin and get sunburns very easily!).
Lovely feast. Thank you, Annie.

Great feast Annie :)

Your deoderant name made me laugh, loudly! I have GIMP installed on my laptop and use it daily, I love it. And oh no, did your red Kitchenaid immersion blender break? Oh no, I was wanting to get one of those, I collect red and Kitchenaid stuff, you know :)

Hope you have a beautiful day!!!

Annie, I got choked up when you mentioned your dad coming to visit your kiddos! My dad used to do that when we lived down the street from him. Now he is with Jesus! But sometimes little things like your comment really touch my heart with memories of him.

Thank you!

Great feast today. I must say that you seem from blog like a lime green kind of gal! :) I have been behind on blogging this week and I feel like life in blog land has gone on without me! Hopefully next week will be calmer and I can join in more often. Oh, was going to mention what a wonderful thing it is to have your dad so close and involved in your children's lives.
