no power

We have no power. It looks crazy outside. All the trees are broken down from ice. Lots of destruction. I'm posting on my cell. Estimation of 7~10 days without power.

Just today I was reading an article about your area being hit by the ice storm, I was wondering how your family is doing. I hope and pray that Izzy is no longer sick. Do you have a fireplace to keep warm?
I'm praying right now that God will work a miracle and get that electricity going faster than they say it will happen.

Love in Christ,
Sue

Oh no! I hope you all are OK. We were in the dark most of yesterday, but seem to be up and running for good now. I wish I could somehow share it with you (and a lot of others here in the area)

Oh no!! Hope ya'll are ok!! That happened a few times when I lived in the country as a teenager. Once, the power was out for a week. Luckily we always found a place to take a shower, usually my grandmother would have power at her house. I hope they get it back on for you quickly!!

I saw on the news this morning about OK and the loss of power and wondered if it had affected you guys, Annie. I'm so sorry you're without power and have to go so long. I've been there before, I've lived and worked (at the local power company) through an ice storm before. It's no fun being cold and especially at this time of year. Hang in there and stay warm :)

Oh my! I have never heard of such a thing before. May God give you all the grace you need and may the restoration of power be quicker than expected. Have a wonderful Christmas, love to you all, praying for great things for Izzy and all of you for 2008. I am leaving for my holidays on the 18th Dec, back early Jan...so in case you are not 'online' for a while. Merry Christmas!!

I have been thinking about you every time I watch the news. I will pray that the power outage is closer to the 7 than the 10 days. I also hope you have food and heat.

Keeping you in my prayers.

Oh Annie, it must be so hard for you! Keeping you in my thoughts.
Why don't you play pretend, like being Escimos or explorers of the Arctic? I hope the kids will think of fun ways to keep you all cheered up.
