It's Thursday. Still no electricity. We do have a gas heater to stay warm. We do not have water or a way to cook food. I cleaned out the fridge and freezer last night. All I could keep was jelly and mustard. :). I'm posting again on my cell and can read email on the cell. We were able to go to my friend melody's house for a shower.
Thank you for all the ♥ & prayers

I remember ice storms in Oklahoma but don't remember being without power for so long. Maybe I blocked it out or was too young to care! lol Hope your power comes back on soon - are the schools still closed? I thought they might be as I saw my nephew was on myspace at 2:00 yesterday afternoon. Guess I'd better call my dad and make sure he's not frozen solid! Sending WARM thoughts your way!!!!

I'm so glad you're warm! I hope you have some bottled water...or filled jugs at Melody's house! The showers must have felt wonderful! I'm sorry you lost all the food in the fridge and freezer. :(

I'm still praying for you!

I wish I lived closer. Then I could have Mr Monkey bring his generator over to help you out. We went a week in August one year without power due to a micro burst. He powered our fridge and two of our neighbors' fridges with it. We just pretended we were camping out, but it was AUGUST, not full on winter.

I am still praying for you and your family and neighbors. Stay warm.

Can you get mail?

I hope your power will be back on soon! I know you are thankful to have heat, but I am sure the lack of everything else is very trying!

Oh my goodness, I've been seeing all the ice on TV. It's unbelieveable, you with ice and temps in the 70's here in Alabama and we still need rain.
Praying you get power back very soon.Blessings

Very scary. Hope you have some way to get some water and food soon, Annie. I can't imagine what's left to eat that doesn't have to be refrigerated or cooked and hasn't spoiled. Prayers for all of you.
