TGIF

Here's a pic of Isabelle surfing the net with Bailey!
Talk about busy... Emelia told us at 5:15 last night that she had honor choir tryouts at 5:45 and 2 softball games at 6 and 7! I was feeding Iz dinner so I finished quickly and off we went! They won both games and Emelia even made it to home base for the first time (this is her first time to play softball). She was so proud of herself. We were proud too. We are the parents who sit in the bleachers giving smiles and thumbs up, not the yellers. I told Matt this wasn't a real sport like basketball, so we didn't have to yell. LOL.

I took Izzy to bear today. He did great with her. We came up with some more new ideas. After bear we made a quick stop home to feed her lunch and then she made it to pre-k. I posted some new pics of Izzy at school on her blog! You can see them by clicking here!

Nice Blogger Award...

Tricia over at Dragon Fly Dreams and Linda at Ribbon Rock Star both gave me the nice blogger award! You guys are too sweet for words, thank you!!!

Gail at More than a Song
also gave me the Reflection Award. She is one of the nicest girls in bloggville! Thank you Gail.

Jenny, Amanda and I are having a interesting conversation about healing and faith over at Jenny's place today.

Izzy looks so pretty! I ♥ her hair! And Bailey is really handsome...such a nice brother, and a sweet picture of those two! :)

Yay for Emelia! I admire her achievement, seeing as how I don't have an ounce of athletic talent in my entire body, haha! :D
I appreciate parents like you...the yellers can get out of hand. Hope Emelia made honor choir! :)

What? Do my eyes doth deceive me? Did you say you don't yell at baseball/softball games? I can't believe it! lol Yell, woman! Okay, I'm just kidding. I wasn't a yeller either at my kids games. Well..for the most part anyway.

You've got to take pictures of Emelia playing. I'm a softball nut - haven't gotten to watch a game in forever! I bet she's having a great time playing.

Love this picture, by the way. One of these days, I'm going to look up the Renaissance painter that always painted faces like hers. Everytime I see her, I see those paintings in my mind. She's just so beautiful. Oh yeah - and Bailey's a handsome guy, too (don't want to leave him out!).

I love that picture, too! Izzy's curly hair is adorable!! :)
I love it: softball isn't a real sport like basketball! ha,ha,snort! Girl, you are crazy--I yell at softball games, too, but I get to say encouraging things instead of correcting all the wrong things during the game. :)
(Not that I don't encourage during b'ball, but you get the picture)
Have I told you enough today that I love your heart, and your spirit, and I'm so thankful you're in my life?? Much love, J.

I just love that photo, Annie. What a sweet moment and her hair is just as sweet as it can be.

Hey! Softball was a BIG deal around here. OK, so was basketball, but softball is too a real sport! LOL

Not too sure about golf or football, but don't tell my husband I said that. :-)

Hi Annie

That is a cute picture of the two of them - I love how the hair stuff matches the outfit - too cute!

Emelia is GIFTED with sport, isn't she?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Guess what arrived yesterday in the mail??? Yes, your letter and the book labels - I can't wait to get at my books!!! Thank you so so much for your sweet note card and the labels - I really appreciate it very much.
I'm going to try again to send you something - hopefully this time it gets to you too.
BTW, I forgot to tell you - the M fell off my bag (I've been using the keyring as a bag charm - that red ribbon looks great against my gorgeous green bag) but the believe sign is still there :)
~~~~~~
if anyone's thinking "how rude of Marcia to send a thank-you note on a comment" it's because my emails don't go through to Annie. I say this because the thought would cross my mind!

Okay, have to get ready for church now.

Lots of love
Me!!

Annie, thanks for the email/ comment :) Everything stayed on except the M. And I don't even know when it fell off - I think i noticed days later.

Glad you liked my thoughts - I quickly read it, went to church, discussed with Dion and then came and commented. I have a big mouth and can't keep it shut apparently :)

Hi Annie--
Great picture of a brother and sister. I agree--Izzy's hair is adorable. :)

I have been so busy this week that there has been no time for blogging OR visiting blogs--I miss everyone!

Off to blog an update and go visiting. Hope you are having a great Saturday.

Softball isn't a real sport... SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH don't let Princess hear you say that.. I mean this is the child who plays year round with a 3 week break in August befor she starts the seson for the next year. The 1st weekend of Aug 2006 was the last weekend she play for the 2006 season then the 1st weekend of Sept 2006 she started weekly practices for the summer 2007 team. The 1st weekend of Aug 2007 was her last weekend to play 10U and today was the 1st practices for her 12U summer of 2008 season.. She practices with her team once a week all year round and sees her picting coach often all year round also.. then come summer and she plays one two traveling teams. One is a league traveling team which plays twice a week during the week and then on weekends in big tournaments with the team that practices year round. LOL (I'm just kidding with ya though about saying it not a real sport) OH should add Princess also plays on a traveling basketball team from Oct to March :)
JI was just stopping by to say thank you for your prayers for DH and the family. I really haven't had any time to get caught up with reading anyones blog.. but wanted to let you know how much it means to me to have you keeping us in your prayers.

I'm a yeller at softball games. This is the sport my whole family played growing up: my dad played on his own team and them coached my sister's team or my team, too. I get so excited.
