On Tuesdays Izzy stays a little late at school to work with Camilla, her physical therapist. I love Camilla (if you're reading this Camilla - me & Izzy LOVE you!!!)... Anyway, Camilla mentioned that Izzy's legs are very tight when standing and this causes some problems. It also causes problems with her hips. I haven't been shy when sharing my beliefs. I believe God heals. I believe God answers prayers of faith. I'm asking you to pray fervently for my little Izzy. Specifically for her little legs to be loose and for her hips.
And their prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make them well. And anyone who has committed sins will be forgiven. James 5:15

Every morning I do they 5 finger prayer that a someone taught me a few years ago.
Thumb- Pray for the people closest to you
Pointer- Pray for something in the world that needs to be fixed
Middle- Pray for belief in God
Finger next to pinky- Pray for the sick/need of healing (I will now include Lizzy on my list)
Lastly the pinky- pray for yourself(most of the time after I get here I realize I don't need as much as I thought)
Have you tried massage therapy with her? There are many different kinds. My son is a massage therapist, alas we live far away, but he suggests finding a massage therapist that knows how to use sweedish, structural, and/or deep tissue massage to help with muscle tightness.
Perhaps an answer to a prayer. I'll keep praying just in case.

I said a prayer for beautiful Izzy. And thanks to Theresa for the "five finger prayer" instructions! Growing up the way I did, I saved prayer for desperate situations, not wanting to always "bother" God. I do know now that He hears us, and I pray for Izzy's little legs and hips to be touched with healing grace.

I read a few comments that suggested massage, etc. What does your PT say? I mean, is there something that will loosen her up? I mean, I'm assuming that's the point of PT, but is there something like massage, or...pilates (lol!) or something?!

Annie.. I'll be keeping Izzy's legs and hips in my prayers. I"m just getting caught up on reading blogs so I just saw the pics of Amanda over the weekend.. She looked wonderful.
I'm behind and trying to catch up....but prayed for Izzy now before I commented, hope everything will be better with her legs and hips.
Obviously I'm a little late on seeing this--I think my google reader is not picking up all the posts, 'cause you are not the first that's been missed--but, I will pray specifically for her today. You know, I remember driving down the road with a burden to pray for Izzy right then. I wish I could remember if it was Tuesday. Even so, I did just that. She is so precious, and so are you, and the rest of your family! :)
