friday's feast

Appetizer

Describe your laundry routine. Do you have a certain day when you do it all, or do you just wash whatever you need for the next day?

I have to do laundry everyday. With six people in our house there is always laundry.

Soup
In your opinion, what age will you be when you’ll consider yourself to truly be old?

Truly old? I think that changes every once in a while. When I was a little girl, 25 was truly old. When I was a teenager, 40 was truly old. Now that I'm thirtyish, maybe over 100 is truly old and what an accomplishment and blessing of a long life. I really enjoy being with older people and gaining knowledge from their life lessons.

Salad
What is one of your goals? Is it short-term, long-term, or both?

I recently achieved a goal of finding a new church home. yay. Now my goals relate to diet and being fit is my short term goal... my long term goal would be a timely arrival to HEAVEN.

Main Course
Name something unbelievable you’ve seen or read lately.

I walk by faith, not by sight. (II Corinthians 5:7)

Dessert
On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being highest, how happy are you today?

I'm happy today, oh yes, I'm happy today

In Jesus Christ, I'm happy today

Because He's taken all my sins away

And that's why I'm happy today

Excuse the singing outburst, it just popped out when I read that question. It's early, but I'll say a 7.

Today I'd have to be a 4, because of Oksana :o( Ususally I'm a 10!!!
It isn't about being happy though...it's about trusting Him in whatever or where ever we find He is allowing us to be.
Glad you didn't say 69 was old!!! Even though it is!!!!
((hugs))

Well, HI! I've been trying to send you email but I suppose I should know better, hey?

I wanted to check if you were able to download from the comment at the other blog, and was that your home or cell phone the other night because I tried to send you an sms. I'm determined to get this communication thing sorted!

Have a great day!

Great feast, as always, Annie! I totally agree on the age thing. When I was young, I thought the age I am now was nearly ancient! Now that I'm here, I still feel sorta young :)

Have a great day and a wonderful weekend!!!

I so agree with you on the age thing...but at age 45, 100 isn't that far away for me, hahaha!

LOVED your dessert song! :)

Hello Annie, I did not realize how profound and unbelievable that statement is. I walk by faith not by sight. It reminds me of when Jesus speaks to Thomas and says in John 20:29 Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."

Great feast today. I loved the singing. :-)

Age is a weird thing. I don't see my mom as being old...but I see myself as old because I am turning 20. Weird.
I loved that scripture from Corinthians that you shared. I had never heard that before.

When there were 6 people at my house all the time there was always a mountain of laundry! It was the bane of my existence!
