diet devo ~ day twenty-six

"Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God."
Matthew 5:8

Once we decide something is wrong
(being overweight, for example)
then doing that thing is sinful.
Some may say, "The bible doesn't say obesity is a sin."
The bible does tell us that anything we do that makes us less than
God created us to be is a sin.
To be pure in heart means to try to do everything we know we ought to do.
We ought to regard our own bodies with respect.
We ought to be an example for others to follow.
We ought to do all we can to be all we can.
When we stay true to what we know in our hearts is right,
then we will be assured of a place with God in His kingdom.

Today's thought:
I will do all I can to be all I am meant to be!

Hi, Annie, it's me Rachel! I finally figured out where your HOME blog is...like it was really hard to find 8-() I'm a goof sometimes! lol! and also a little slow!
You mentioned about your daughter's accident, ...what happened? Where on your blog do you describe this? Is she OK? I couldn't imagine such terror. I have a million questions that are going through my mind, but I will wait until you email me back before I ask them. Please don't feel like you need to explain either. I always write while I think so I may have intruded upon such a tender topic and if so, I apologize . I'm sorry.

Are you dieting? I also have mentioned a few things about this on my blog too. Where are you at in your journey? I have 10 pounds left to go.
Well, I'l talk to you later.

Wow! I read the accident so far and I don't have the time tonight to finish the updates, etc, but I am so sorry. I feel for you. I am shocked at the fact that you stated. I know that even bath water terrifies me, but what terrifies me more is how easy it is to walk away for a few minutes to do something that is pointless and could risk danger to our children. Thank you for the wakeup call. I'll be praying for you and I am soooooo glad that you baby is still with you today. She's precious!
I am going to do the unthinkable and give you my email addy
rnorwood2@marykay.com ! Yes, I'm a Mary Kay lady, but not a MK nut...lol!
I noticed that you are about the same age as my sister(34). I was 10 when she got married and I also have 2 brothers, one is 37 and another is 28. I'm 25 forever! I have 4 kids as you have already noticed and so there are those days that I feel older- lol!!

I started taking Catalyst with my diet and I have lost 10 pounds (over the period of 1.5 months) and I feel great and have energy like crazy...It's awesome. It's Amino Acids and it really helps burn fat and turn it into lean muscle (which is great after kids..I'll take all I can get).
Anyways thats my story....
Talk to you later. I've got to get a grocery list together and shop tonight....YAWN!
We'll be going to Oklahome to visit a friend in Sep. He used to live in Duncan, but now, I'm not for sure (my husband knows...I'm forgetful)
