teacher & therapist gifts...

I made keychains for the teachers and therapists that work with Izzy.
I put two swarovski crystals in Izzy's birthstone,
A silver charm of each of their initial,
and a believe charm...

Here is a close up of Camilla's (izzy's physical therapist)

I then made little notes to each person telling them thank you
for different qualities they exhibit and an
explanation of the gift...

Here they are, all packed up and ready to go to school with
Izzy tomorrow for her last day!

Emelia wanted to get in on all the pictures being taken so
here she is, notice her new cut and highlights as well...

I'm so relieved to have this project completed. I am not a jewelry maker, so this was a challenge that I'm sure would be so simple to someone who 'does' this... but, they turned out cute and my goal was just to give a token to show my love and appreciation for their love of Isabelle.

Those are real pretty, and I love Emila's hair very pretty. I keep wanting to get Princess some highlights but she doesn't want them, she does, but she dosn't like they way they look as they are growing out so she keeps passing everytime I ask her if she wants them. I think they look wonderful.

Annie,

THese are great! I love the idea of a key chain. I actually collected keychains as I was growing up. Everyone can use a keychain too!

For a lady who does not normally craft like this, you did a great job!

You're so very crafty, Annie! I mean that in the artiest sense only and not that you're crafty in a devious under-handed manner.

Thank you for the fabuloso birthday package. I'm blogging Good Mail Girls booty today. I always reciprocate in kind, it just takes me awhile longer due to work and tending my spawn of six. Like Lilo said, "No one gets left behind or forgotten!" I apply that phrase to the Good Mail Girl project.

This is the 3rd time I'm trying to comment - it keeps bombing me out. Anyway...

You can cook AND craft! Wow - so talented...those keychains are really, really nice. I'd like one.

The craftiest I get is bookmarks. With beads. I'm going to blog it sometime so you can see. They actually get some nice reviews when I attach them to a book as a gift. I give books 90% of the time.

Love the notes and the presentation too. Well done!

These look amazing. Now you just need to do a tutorial for those of us who are a little on the totally clueless wagon.

They look amazing! I had to laugh because I went out of my comfort zone for Mothers Day and sewed little pillows for my mom friends. I don't sew...but it was fun. Took way longer than it should have.

HI! I came upon your blog in the GOOD MAIL GIRL address book. You have a beautiful family and I LOVE the keychains. I have a special place in my heart for families- especially mothers- with children of special needs. I work with special needs children everyday and really love it. I think her therapists will LOVE the keychains. Sometimes as teachers/caseworkwers/therapists, etc you never really know if you are making a difference. So a simple act like you have done for them will go a VERY long way, I promise :)
