Just finished the memorial service. It was at an Episcopal Church, very different from anything I'm used to but interesting. I thought it was a nice service.

What's your favorite exercise option? I know Nancy jogs very early in the morning ... I can't see that ever happening! Jenna does curves... I think I just read Kim started that too. I am getting ready to start moving more, just looking for options!

healthy eating..

I am trying to eat healthy. I have basically eliminated sugar from my diet. I had the worst headache all day yesterday... I didn't know you could have withdrawals from sugar!

amanda...

Amanda was very excited that the season premier of one tree hill was last night!
I don't think I have ever watched it, but she has all the dvds of the past seasons and really likes it.
She had to have boyfriend over to watch with her... and I had to get them pizza.
She is memorizing the periodic table too, so it was good to have her friend help her. She started chemistry, calculus, english and history this semester.

izzy

I took Izzy to school today! She was really glad to be back. I then had a short meeting with her teacher to discuss the "future." I ended up crying. I hate when that happens.

rebates on hp

I just prepared the rebate form to mail. I'm writing this mainly to give myself a little record of when I mailed it :o)! Hopefully it won't take forever to receive the rebate checks!

a quiet house...

It seems like Christmas break has been so LONG. I have enjoyed having all the kids home, but it will be nice to get back to our normal routine on Tuesday. Bailey and Emelia spent the night with friends so it's quieter than usual...

Marshalls....

I went to Kohls and Target yesterday looking for a new mirror or something for above the den computer cabinet. I couldn't find anything! I finally went to Marshalls and found a really nice mirror with a thick chunky wood frame on sale for $16.00! The mirrors at the other stores were over $50 and not nearly as nice. I then saw valentine's day tablecloths and placemats while I was checking out! It was a good day at marshalls. I think it's my new favorite store.

waitress

I saw many of you thought the movie Waitress was good... I'm watching it now. Not really sure yet where it's going, but so far it's "interesting."

I'm backing up my files right now (and doing postings...) and then heading to town to take this thing back! I'm kinda excited to need a trip to town, I have a wall in need of a new wall hanging! I may just have to run into hobby lobby to look around while I am there...

today

My plans for today are to go shopping for a calendar for my kitchen! I have a wooden holder purchased at a craft show many years ago and I love choosing a new calendar for it! I have found that the mall has a great calendar store and discounts the calendars by half on the day after Christmas!

I got the things I ordered Izzy from Gymboree today.
They are all so cute.
I love ordering from Gymboree.

I'm working on a new christmas template over at izzy's blog. I am hoping to have my blog winterized soon as well. I thing all the holiday decorations are getting to me :o)!!!

Hopefully I'll get all these things done before the day is over! It's not really that much, but there is more to do too!

Christmas Decorating

I love Christmas decorations!  I always dread Dec. 26 when it is time to put them back in their boxes... I have some missing items this year which is annoying.  My hall bathroom is all white.  White double sinks, White big triangle tub/shower and the walls are the beaded board.  I decorate that bathroom to match the seasons and cannot find the box with all the Christmas stuff for in there.  Oh well, another excuse to run to Target? or Kohls?  I'll let you know what I come up with.

God is good and I am so thankful to Him for everything that is good in my life.  I'm thankful for friends (like you).  I'm thankful for my family too!  I'm thankful for all the wonderful blessings bestowed upon me!

Don't you just love a good hug from a good friend? It can make your day better in an instant.  I hope you have lots of hugs today!

Mark 11:22 Then Jesus said to the disciples, "Have faith in God. 23 I assure you that you can say to this mountain, `May God lift you up and throw you into the sea,' and your command will be obeyed. All that's required is that you really believe and do not doubt in your heart. 24 Listen to me! You can pray for anything, and if you believe, you will have it. 25 But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too.

This verse has been especially inspiring to me since Izzy's accident.  Reading verse 24 is a definite faith builder.  If I believe it in my heart when I pray, I will have it.  Sounds so simple doesn't it.  Sometimes believing something you can't see with your physical eyes is harder than it sounds, but my faith has increased and I do believe in what my physical eyes cannot see.  I believe in the manifestation of Izzy's healing and now I just thank God for that everyday.
