time travel tuesday!

It's almost Valentines Day! So to give us all some good ideas, travel back to the funnest gift you gave your valentine and/or the most special thing your honey did for you on Valentines Day!

My favorite Valentine's Day was several years ago. Amanda was only two years old. Matt secretly rented a helium tank and came home from work late and spent hours and hours blowing up hundreds of balloons. He said he only wanted me to see balloons when I woke up. They filled the entire living room and almost the house we lived in at the time! I don't know who enjoyed them more, me or Amanda! It was such a BIG way to say I love you and a sweet gesture!

Annie, what a wonderful thing for him to do with all those balloons ! That was a great Valentine's Day thing to do !

And no, I didn't get the comment. Darn. I'd really like to hear all of what you had to say... Would you be willing to write again ?

I think it would be so fun to wake up to a sea of balloons like that. What a great gift!

What a cute idea.
We don't celebrate Valentines day so I'm drawling a blank. When we were dating we gave each other cards and candy or whatever but never went all out on V-day..
On that day we are celebrating DH's birthday so V-day normally gets over looked.

Yay! Whitney said hi...she is awesome!

Anyway, I would totally play along BUT the only Valentine's I remember is the time Ted bought me a Baja Chalupa from Taco Bell to apologize for hurting my feelings during the day. Actually...yes, I will play along.

That is so cool! I did something similar for a friend who was out of town for her birthday. But the balloons started drifting down on her during the night (she didn't take them out of her room) and scared her. HAHA.
