Okay Nancy Face...
What do you have most in common with:
Matt? our faith
Amanda? our looks (or so they say)
Bailey? we look at things in a very similar way.
Emelia? our personalities are both very choleric... (we're bossy!)
Izzy? We both love to snuggle.
Is there a movie you can watch over and over again and never get tired of it? I love footloose and fried green tomatoes... I think I've seen them a hundred times. Oh and Beaches.
Do you like to sing in the shower? No, I am a quiet shower taker... however...
In your vehicle? I can belt out a tune while listening to music in the car!
Judi,
You asked... "What would you say to someone who seriously questioned your faith regarding Izzy's healing?" I would say, "I believe God over you, my God is bigger and more powerful than any person or anything a person can say."
Mel's World asked... "If you could do anything in the world and money and time were not an object, what would you do?"
TRAVEL! I would visit all my blog friends scattered all over this big wide world! Wouldn't that be fun?
Dena! You asked... "How's Izzy doing?"
She is doing so good! Matt put up a bell beside her bed night before last. She was awake but still in bed as he was getting ready for work yesterday so he told her to ring the bell when she was ready to get up and he didn't take two steps out of the room and we heard the bell! LOUD. We were both so excited.
Jodi I hope we get to meet someday soon!
Hi Karen! (so glad you're back home!)
The kid's middle names are Jane (after Matt's aunt and sister), Bailey (my maiden name and he uses this name), Rae (after Matt's mom), and Renee (after my mom)... I don't really have plans for 2008 holiday... I am recovering from 2007's holiday lol :o)
I think that's all of them... whew that was even painless!
Some latecomers chimed in...
Gail asked,
What's your favorite food? It changes from time to time, but I love my mom's weiner schnitzel and homemade rolls...
What's a typical day like for you? busy. getting kids to school, matt to work, taking care of Iz then getting her to school and/or any therapies, kids come home, start supper, do therapy, take kids to activities, take care of Iz, with laundry and other things spread around throughout the day. OH and blogging too!
How would you spend a day without the kids? I'd probably shop all day, just walk around the mall and then have a long lunch with a friend... make it worthwhile and get my eyebrows waxed and toenails done.
What's your favorite color?I love ivory and shades of white... and pink. I also like green, like my peridot birthstone.
Zam wanted to know what the worst thing you ever did in your life? Or what's the worst thing you did as a parent?
Yikes Zenaida! I only thought it was painless :o)! Worst thing, worst thing... hmmm... probably when I turned away from God and held unforgiveness in my heart which I believe ultimately led to Izzy's near drowning. I think that could be the answer for both questions...

So fun to get to know you through this post. I think your faith is so inspiring. Thank you.
Good Saturday morning to you, Annie !
I tagged you - come over to my blog and get it when you have a minute - I think you'll like it :)
Aww, I missed the questions thing! Such cute answers!
I love that you want to travel to see all your blog friends! That does sound fun!
that was fun! good questions!
OK, so when you are filthy rich you'll come to Michigan on your blog tour, right? *grin*
This was a really neat idea. I might give it a try soon.
One of my young relatives there in Oklahoma told me once that I looked like "that lady in the movie". Well - naturally, I wondered who he meant...Julia Roberts? Susan Sarandan? Emma Thompson even? Not so much. He said "that woman that was in Fried Green Tomatoes". I was horrified at the thought that he meant Jessica Tandy (no offense to Ms. Tandy but geez!), then was even more horrified when I realized he was referring to Kathy Bates. No offense to her, either, but really - she's not the movie star I ever hoped to be compared to. (I have GOT to quit talking to young relatives in Oklahoma. Nothing good ever comes of it. lol)
My youngest son has my maiden name as his middle name. But it's not a name you could easily use as an "everyday" kind of name, though. It's Steed. Jacob loves it (as do I), but it doesn't exactly roll off the tongue like "Bailey" does!
Cool question and answer post, by the way. I really enjoyed it.

Good answers! Great idea too to have people ask questions!
Fun, thanks for answering Annie!
You are one busy girl....I might get my energy level up if I came and spent a day with you!
Annie, the last question was so intriguing. Do you delve into it in more detail anywhere on your blog?
I'm sure some of us are curious to understand exactly what you mean by this and could learn how to grow closer to God from your experience.
...Just a thought!
PS...it sounds as though you--in some way--blame yourself for what happened to Izzy by almost implying that God was teaching you a lesson. I personally don't believe that God causes horrible things to happen, but I do think our thought patterns and our actions can. Don't be hard on yourself...you are an amazing human being, and probably one of the strongest women I've...well...never met! But you know what I mean. ;)
That would be SO much fun to do a bloggy friend tour, wouldn't it?
Thanks for taking the time to tackle the questions...
Melissa
Annie, this was such a great idea! I really enjoyed reading your answers to the questions and learning even more about you! How cool that Bailey uses his middle name (so do you, right?) and that it's your maiden name! I also love that each of your children's middle names have special meaning! :)
That was a great idea! Too bad I missed out. Loved reading your answers.
