Tomorrow is Izzy's fifth birthday! I can't believe it! You can read my birthday poem here.

We tried out a new church tonight. It was interesting. It was warm and I did get a good feeling there. We'll see. If you get a chance please pray for us to find a place to be... and to know it when we find it.

One interesting thing happened while at the new church tonight. We were sitting down and there was a bad wreck right outside the church. There is a big grassy area in front of the church and a helicopter flew in to take the girl hurt to the hospital. The police came to this church and asked the preacher to come and pray. He prayed over this girl who was not breathing, he said she did start breathing while they were praying and the paramedics took over. The whole church stopped and joined hands to pray for her. It was a spine chilling event. I pray that girl is okay... and wonder if I know her.

Wow. That's a scary thing to happen right where you are. I held a man's head off the ground to keep him from drowning in his own blood, after his motorcyle was run over by a semi on the highway. It was over two years ago and I don't think one day has gone by that his face has not come into my mind. He died on the way to the hospital and I had a really hard time dealing with that.

Anyway...wow...I don't know why I told you that. :)

I hope you find a good church home soon. I know how hard it is to be looking.

Happy Birthday to Izzy!

Praying you're lead to the church where God wants you to be. That is quite the thing. Incredible that the police would come in and request prayer. That blows my mind.

Happy Birthday for Izzy tomorrow! That is very interesting, what happened at the Church. Will pray about it for you. When I read what happened, I had a sense of excitement, not sure if it was a Karen thing or a God thing. Will check it out :-)

No "accident" that the accident occured in front of the church where prayers would be!!!!! Let us know the end of the story if you can.

Happy Birthday to your sweet Izzy!!

I posted about finding a new church early when I began blogging in February because we had just had the unpleasant chore of finding a new church in December. I'll look up the link and come back and post it.

We are SOO happy with where God has chosen to place us!!! I know He has the perfect place for you and you will KNOW.
((hugs))

Where did you go to church last night? I am praying that your family will be able to find a church home where you feel that God has led you. That's so great that the whole church prayed together for the girl. I personally believe that's what should happen when someone is hurt, ill or having difficulties. I remember when I was much younger a guy from a family I worshipped with had a bad accident and was very critical. He acquired a brain injury from the accident and many of the congregation met at the church building that night to pray - for hours - for him. He did survive!
It was such a powerful and humbling event! I truly was blessed by the prayer service!

Looking for a church is difficult, and I will be praying that God will lead you to the one He has marked for you. And wow - that poor girl. May God be with her and with her family.

Happy B-day Sweet Izzy!!!

My word, Annie! What an experience about the accident in front of the church! Wow! I pray she is alright.

We knew our little one was far sighted because she would cross her eyes when she was trying to look at something up close. I hope the glasses will really help her out!

You have been on my mind a lot lately. Hope everything is well!
Hugs!!!
